Simple Activities Helps to Lose Weight

Those who are excited and hopeful for a quick weight loss should not expect for an overnight course like a sway of a wand. Weight loss is a gradual process practiced with effort. It starts with simple to-dos, then a persistent progression of activities, and a lifetime of maintenance. But it always has to begin with the basics: physical activities and eating well.
By these two basic things, starting off can be unexpectedly simple. Losing weight should not be complicated. To properly lose weight is to start on basic things that you can do every day. Yes, simple chores can adequately help trim your waist line. Here are examples of simple activities that can help you lose excess pounds:

1.Go move

a.Turn off the TV. You will just munch more in front of the screen while you sit. Go out, cut grass, paint your yard, clean your garage.


b.Walk, walk, walk. Every morning as an exercise, or during the afternoon with your dog. You can also walk to your work and walk back home.


c.Look for more chores. There are lots around the house wherein you can help mom or dad. You can do the laundry or vacuum the floor. You can baby sit your brother or help chop the vegetables.


d.Dont forget to stretch. If you are working at the office and all that is moving are your fingers in the keyboard, go stretch your arms and legs to relieve your bones. Bend your neck a little and twist your ankles.


e.Be aware. Make a list of the physical activities you do each day. If you notice you are sitting most of the time, make a new list of the things you can do that can get your body to move, like dancing.


2.Eat well

a.Eat more fruits. These are the healthiest form of desserts. Youll also love these for snacks. Fruits are high in fiber that aids in healthy weight loss.


b.Be a vegetable lover. You know veggies are absolutely good for your health. Not only it will make disease go away, it can also kiss fats goodbye.


c.Be conscious to the fat content of what you eat. Make sure you choose non-fat or low fat foods and dairy products.


d.Say goodbye to junk foods and soda. They have no nutritional value.


e.Keep a diet journal. List down the foods you need to take and list down also those you need to avoid. Make meal plans and calorie count. This will definitely aid for a quick weight loss.

Different Diet Pills for Quick Weight Loss

I bet you have seen more than a dozen of encouraging advertisements that promotes how to lose weight the fast way, showing men and women in perfectly shaped bodies who claimed to lose 30 pounds in 30 days by taking a small effective capsule. Seems very encouraging, right?

More often than not, the promise of diet pills ads for a quick weight loss seems to get a positive response from the public. Since overweight and obesity are beginning to be one of the rising health problems of the society, diet pills have caught the hope of the people for a chance of losing weight the easy way.

There are three types of pills for diet purposesfirst, the prescription drugs or those that can only be bought when prescribed by a physician. These drugs are usually taken to treat patients who are overweight and obese with close monitoring of the prescribing doctor. Examples of these drugs are Meridia and Xenical, which assists in fat breakdown and blocks fat absorption. These are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration.

The second type is the over-the-counter pills or OTC. These are widely available right in any local drugstore or supermarket even without a doctors prescription. Although these drugs are basically considered to be dietary supplements and also regulated by the FDA, it still can pose side effects for the one taking it because of non-supervision of a doctor. Examples of these are fiber supplements Glucomannan and Guar Gum which are used to inhibit digestion and lower caloric absorption.

And the third type of weight loss drugs are the herbal supplements. These are also available without a doctors prescription and can easily be found in supermarkets and health stores. Since herbal, these supplement pills are labeled with all natural ingredients and believed not to have negative side effects for a healthy weight loss. Like the two types above, these pills are also regulated by the FDA.

Now the question ishow do these diet pills work? Whether it is prescribed, over-the-counter, or herbal supplement, diet pills basically operate through: One, suppression of the appetite; two, increase the bodys metabolism; and three, prevent the body to absorb fats. By this three-way process, the body would naturally interfere to achieve a satisfying quick weight loss.

As much as these drugs are very appealing to everyone who is dreaming to have bodies like those in the commercial, it is still always advisable to consult a doctor before taking any diet medication to prevent side effects or any unwanted health complications.

Try Low Carb Diet for Quick Weight Loss

There are quite a lot of weight loss diet plans available everywhere. Some are accepted as very effective for a quick weight loss, and some just assume to be effective although not. Some like Atkins diet and South Beach diet are very popular in all parts of the world because of its increasing number of followers that testifies its credibility and effectiveness. But what is it that makes them well accepted?

Diet programs like Atkins and South Beach are well known to be low carbohydrate diet. This is also called as reduced carbohydrate, controlled carbohydrate, or low glycemic diet. This diet basically restricts carbohydrate intake by reducing the consumption of carbohydrates from 20 to 60 grams per day and increase the consumption of protein and fat to compensate the calories that are supposed to be taken from carbohydrates.

Low carb diet is usually done to lose weight and treat obesity, but there are also significant benefits this program provides in prevention of diseases like diabetes, cancer and epilepsy.

In a low carb diet, foods that are high in digestible carbohydrates should be limited or avoided. These foods are usually white, such as the following:

White Flour

White bread

White rice

Potatoes

Pasta

Sugars

Full cream milk
In contrast, these high in carbohydrates foods should be replaced with foods that contains higher percentage of proteins, unsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids, or those with low carbohydrates, such as:

Brown rice

Fruits

Green leafy vegetables

Soy products

Whole grain products

Lean meat

Salmon/Tuna

For one to be able to experience a successful healthy weight loss with a low carb diet, it should always be a reminder to choose the good than the bad. Always opt for good carbohydrates or those unprocessed foods like wheat, grain and beans, and eliminate bad carbohydrates or those processed foods like pasta and bread. In addition, always go for good fats like lean meat, oily fish and nuts, and remove bad fats like red meat and dairy products.

It is believed that a consistent and well maintained low carb diet can result to a successful quick weight loss in 28 days. There are weekly phases of controlled intake of foods that should be religiously complied. Scheduled meal plans should be strictly followed along with the commitment to sustain the phases once the desired weight is achieved for lifetime maintenance.
