What Foods You Should Avoid To Help You Lose Weight?--> -->What Foods You Should Avoid To Help You Lose Weight?When it comes to nutrition and healthy eating there are good fats and there are bad fats that we can eat in our diet. In this article I will concentrate on the bad fats that we should be avoiding to ensure we remain fit and healthy.

Foods High In Saturated Fats

Saturated fats are the main culprit and should be avoided or at the very least consumed only occasionally. The main source of saturated fats is animal fats that can be found in meat and dairy products.

When we eat a lot of saturated fat we are not doing our body and our health any good. Saturated fat has the affect of solidifying in the body. This is most common with the hardening of the arteries that our coated with a plaque which increase blood pressure and the risk of heart disease, heart attacks and stroke. As well as red meat other food sources that are high in saturated fats include cows milk, butter, and cheese.

The main problem with these foods is that our bodies cannot digest them properly. This can cause a whole host of health problems. These can include hypertension and high blood pressure. Other adverse affects of too much saturated fats is increased cholesterol levels which can cause an imbalance to our blood sugar levels. This can affect our moods and lead to low energy levels and depression.

Another health concern with saturated fats is that it increases our body weight. The body is unable to process saturated fats effectively. This means most of the fat is stored in the body and therefore, increases our weight.

The Growth of Processed Foods

Processed foods are now becoming a staple diet for many people. This has made a huge increase in the number of people becoming overweight and obese. If you want to remain healthy, slim and have plenty of energy avoid processed foods.

Processed foods are everywhere and our easy to spot. The supermarket shelves are full of them. These are the pre-packed and plastic wrapped, the instant microwavable, the boil in bag ready in two minutes type of food. These foods have as much nutritional value as the packaging they are contained in.

As well as having little to no nutritional value processed foods use many additives to improve the way they look and taste. These additives are basically chemicals and there is nothing natural about them. These additives can include colouring, preservatives, emulsifiers and artificial sweeteners.

These additives and chemicals can cause problems to our health that can include allergies stress to our major organs and digestive system.

A lady doctor from Arizona has blown the lid off the best-kept secret in weight loss ever discovered -- and this has the whole diet food and drug industries turned upside down and in nothing less than a torrential uproar.

This same woman medical practitioner went on to accurately determine a definitive correlation between harmful plague and parasitic infestations of the human bowel tract, and people suffering chronic obesity -- and who despite intense diet and exercise appeared to be unable to lose any weight whatsoever.

Over the course of six years the Arizona doctor developed a number of natural treatments for the removal of these same harmful, even life-threatening plaques and rapidly reproducing digestive parasites -- and when applied to even worse-case patients suffering extreme obesity (98% of which were in immediate danger of dying) she saw a 100% effectiveness and success rate.

Many people have fallen victim to false ideas and read the wrong books that advocate myths to get rid of the weight. Have you been preyed upon by these companies? Find out by reading below and seeing if you have believed any of the following weight loss myths.

Myth #1: Lots Of Cardio Exercises Will Help You Lose Weight

No way! In fact, slow cardio is one of the least effective exercises you can do if your goal is to burn fat. Yes, it is good to stay active, and as a general rule someone who jogs for an hour every day will lose weight faster than someone who sits around all day. But there are more effective exercises!

Anything that ramps up the intensity will help you burn the pounds off faster. When your body goes through an intense workout, the muscle tissue will be broken down (it's a good thing!) For the next day or so your body will be expending a lot of calories repairing the damage, which means you'll be burning extra calories even while you sleep.

Myth #2: Working A Certain Muscle Will Reduce The Fat Over That Area

Your body gains and loses fat as a whole, there's no way to focus on a certain area while ignoring the rest. If you want to get rid of the fat on your arms, then you need to get rid of it all. This means that you shouldn't do situps or crunches if you want to lose stomach fat.

Instead you should be doing full body exercises that work all your muscles and burn much more calories. You'll actually lose fat off your "problem area" faster if you don't focus on that muscle alone.

Are you convinced that you'll never be able to lose weight on your own and need some outside help? You may be right, but before you go out and spend big money on a personal trainer, maybe you just need to learn some simple truths that will help you get great results on your own.

I'm all about saving money where you can, and if you can skip the personal trainer, then that's a wad of cash that you can put right back in your pocket. I'm not saying personal trainers aren't worth the money though.

If you know what you're doing you CAN achieve great weight loss results without a trainer, but you'll have to hold yourself accountable. This is the number one reason that PT's are so valuable. When you have someone that is depending on you to show up to workout, you're much more likely to follow through (especially when you've got money invested)

But before you got out there and hire one, try out this small tip to see if you can do it on your own.

Instead of jumping head first into a diet strategy and workout plan, work into it gently. Any sudden, big changes will be hard to stick to because it's so out of the ordinary for you. If you introduce small changes a little at a time you'll create good habits that stack and have a huge impact over time.

The first thing to try? Just start eating a little less. Grab the smaller plate at meals and eat slowly. You'll find that a much smaller portion of food will make you full when you take your time and enjoy it.
