Every man wants a set of washboard abs nowadays. In a survey carried out a while back, they were voted as the sexiest part on a guy by females. Sadly, only a couple of percent of the population have this "gift of genetics." That is not what it is though. Sure, some folks have exceptional genetics and never had to work at them, but others have washboard abdominals despite nature being against them. Forget the excuses, if you want something, go get it.

I'm not just here to ridicule your lack of effort though, I'm going to try and help you get a body you're able to be confident about showing off. If you are a guy and you take my advice, do not be one of those guys that takes off his shirt everywhere you go when you get your six pack. It is fun, but it makes those who do not have a six pack feel bad.

Your keys to acquiring a sexy set of washboard abdominals are diet, workout, and consistent focus. To start off it may be hard, but you will develop momentum the longer you do it. At some point you are going to lose the taste for the junk foods you used to love. It'll be like sabotaging your body. So that you can go the places and do the things you desire within your life, you need to keep your body in shape.

Your nutrition may be the most important of the three. You can exercise all day long, but if you have cake at each meal it will make no difference at all. Low quality nutrition leads to low energy levels. A poor diet will give you energy crashes and sugar cravings, leading to a worse diet. It is critical that you plan out your diet well and that it is balanced in vitamins, minerals, macronutrients, and has limited chemicals from processed food.

Your workout will change your life in numerous ways. It is the second element of how you create the calorie deficit required to shed body fat, thereby making your abs a lot more visible and defined. If done incorrectly, it is basically wasted motion. When you're going after washboard abdominals, you must concentrate on calorically demanding activities such as cardio or High Intensity Interval Training(HIIT).

We've all been on the roller coaster of staying fat. You get tired of how you look and get motivated to change something. You put in excellent effort for a brief time period, and then it fizzles out after a short time when you haven't seen the results you want or expect. In no time you're back to your old habits and routines. That kind of wishy-washy dedication will get you nowhere. Anyone can put in the required work on a good day, it's when you have every excuse not to and do it anyway that makes the biggest difference in your body and your life.
