Acai Berry

Acai berry is the fruit of Acai Palm. Acai palms are tall, slender palms growing to 15-30 meters long. There are some eight species of Acai palm reported so far all over the world. Acai is a small, round, black-purplish drupe, about 1-inch in circumference. It is similar in appearance to a grape but smaller in size and with less pulp. Recently, it has been found greatly helpful as a weight loss supplement due to the high anti-oxidant levels in it.
